  • Appointment and billing details (payment method, Medicare/insurance details where relevant).
  • Website or booking usage data (device, pages viewed, basic analytics and cookies—see Cookies below).

  • Coordinating with your GP, specialists, or allied health team with your consent.
  • Booking management, reminders, and client support.
  • Billing, claims, and required health records.
  • Quality, safety, and practice administration.
  • Legal obligations and reporting where required.

4. Sharing your information

We only share information when necessary for your care or where the law requires it. Typical recipients include:

  • Your GP, specialists, imaging providers, and allied health team (with your consent).
  • Medicare, private health insurers, or third-party payors to process claims you authorise.
  • IT providers (practice software, secure messaging, email) who must keep data confidential.
  • Regulators or courts when we are legally required to disclose information.

5. Retention and security

Health records are kept for the minimum periods required by law. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards (restricted access, secure systems, staff confidentiality). No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

6. Cookies & analytics

Our website may use cookies and basic analytics to improve performance and measure traffic. You can adjust your browser settings to block cookies, though parts of the site may not function as intended.

You can request access to your personal information and ask us to correct anything inaccurate or incomplete. We’ll respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity.

9. Overseas transfers

Some service providers (e.g., cloud or email) may store data on servers located outside Australia. Where used, we take steps to ensure comparable privacy protections are in place.

10. Children and young people
